Captain James Cook was a famous explorer, navigator and captain in the Royal Navy. He was best known for exploring and mapping the South Pacific.

James studied in a local School in the Village
He went to work at the nearby Fishing village.
1746
Cook was then really interested in the Sea so he started to learn more about the sea with the Walker Family, who were ship owners.
